Stonemount Park Shortlisted for the RIAI Architecture Awards 2026
Our 900+ home residential community in Ballyfermot has been recognised in the Housing and Urban Design category of Ireland's foremost architecture awards. Winners will be announced on 18 June.
We are delighted to announce that Stonemount Park has been shortlisted for the RIAI Architecture Awards 2026 in the Housing and Urban Design category.
The annual awards, run by the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, celebrate the best of Irish architecture and the contribution it makes to the places where we live, work and gather.
Stonemount Park is a thriving new residential community on the lands of the former De La Salle school on Ballyfermot Road, Dublin 10. Developed by Dwyer Nolan Developments, the scheme delivers over 900 homes across an 8.3 hectare site, with a varied mix of apartments, duplex and triplex units offering genuine lifestyle choice for individuals and families.
A Community, Not Just a Scheme
What makes Stonemount Park special is the community it has become. The completed phases are now fully occupied, with homes arranged around generous internal courtyards and a public realm designed to bring neighbours together.
A defining element of the scheme is Block B — a 128-home phase delivered for the Iveagh Trust whose social inclusion model has already been recognised with a shortlisting at the ICSH Community Housing Awards 2025, in the Large Family Housing Project category.
The collaboration between Dwyer Nolan Developments as developer and the Iveagh Trust as end-user client has been integral to the success of the scheme — proof that ambitious, large-scale housing can be commercially deliverable and socially generous at the same time.
The Jury Visit
As part of the awards process, members of the RIAI Awards Jury visited Stonemount Park in May, walking the completed and occupied phases, the internal courtyards and the wider public realm, and meeting the team from DSA, Dwyer Nolan and the Iveagh Trust who delivered the project together.
"Stonemount Park represents everything we care about as a practice: homes of real quality, delivered at scale, for a genuinely mixed community. The shortlisting is a credit to everyone involved — our clients, the design and construction teams, and the residents who have made it home."
